FAMILY
We recognise that families are children's most influential teachers. We foster strong partnerships with families to develop trusting and collaborative partnerships through open communication, mutual respect, and involvement in decision-making. We recognise the importance of positive relationships with caregivers, parents, and other significant adults in children's lives to foster a sense of security and belonging.
RESPECT
We view each child as unique individuals with needs, interests, and abilities, treating them with respect, dignity and consideration. We foster respect in children to ensure they feel safe and are able to express themselves. Our programs help children to understand what healthy relationships look like and set boundaries for how they want to be treated by others. Respect is valued and shared among all interactions.

DEVELOPMENT
We acknowledge that each child is unique and possesses their own strengths, interests, and learning styles. We encourage exploration, curiosity, play-based learning and hands-on experiences to facilitate holistic development to learning that encompasses the cognitive, physical, social, emotional, and creative domains. We value the opportunity to develop and learn from the natural environment and outdoors which develops children’s responsibility to the environment.
COMMUNITY
We embrace the community as an extension of the learning environment for children. We collaborate with local organisations, indigenous leaders and cultural institutions to provide enriching experiences with resources that connects learning with real-world contexts. We honour and respect the cultural backgrounds, traditions and languages of all children including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and families. We integrate diverse perspectives into the curriculum and create an inclusive environment where every child feels seen, valued and understood.

We prioritise the physical, emotional, and psychological safety of children by creating secure environments and implementing appropriate safety measures. We foster a strong sense of wellbeing that is connected to children’s sense of belonging, being and becoming. Children and staff are priority in developing a sense of safety and security, focusing on basic practices such as active supervision and child protection. Proactively managing safety, adequate hygiene, nutritional requirements, safe sleep procedures, illnesses and injuries will promote a safe environment for children.
RESILIENCE
We believe in increasing children’s resiliency by strengthening their self-confidence and flexibility within all learning domains. We equip children with the skills required to overcome challenges, problem solve and become flexible with change in order to foster a positive outlook on life.

EMPOWERMENT
We encourage children and staff to become active participants in learning processes, fostering independence, autonomy, and self-confidence. We believe in empowering children so they can flourish and survive inevitable setbacks. Children will explore, discover and develop their skills to become responsible and self-reliant of themselves, gaining a sense of direction. Through empowerment, children will be able to build resilience, develop self-respect and become active learners.

We celebrate and embrace differences in culture, background, abilities, and perspectives to promote an inclusive environment where all children, staff, families and community members feel valued and accepted.
